ANDY BURTON (MAPM / MCIOB)

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - DiRECTOR

Andy is a construction professional and accomplished project manager with 20 years of experience. Andy has worked for end-users, consultants and contractors across varied sectors, giving him the knowledge and understanding to tackle challenging projects.

Project Manager on the conversion and extension of an existing retail unit to enable use as a Nando’s restaurant, value at £0.5m.

RETAIL

Major retailer experience over 10 years, working on rollouts and major store remodels from £10k - £2m values.

Including Asda, Lidl, Co-Op Frameworks.

Key Client Contact for multi-year frameworks including Home Shoppings, Checkout Upgrades, Fixtures, Cafes and Click & Collect.

EDUCATION

Project Manager for White Young Green on the refurbishment and extension of an existing primary school to DfES standards, value £6m.

Project Manager on a £2.2m phased fast track refurbishment of academic offices, conference and teaching facilities at Aston University.

RESIDENTIAL

Project Manager for office to residential conversion for 40+ apartments over 9 floors including rooftop extension in Sutton Coldfield.

Project Director for a new build development in Huddersfield, comprising of 26 townhouses and 2 bungalows, value £3m.

TRANSPORT

Project Manager on the extension and protective treatment of a high-security communications facility at RAF Menwith Hill, value £1m.

Project Manager for Network Rail & London Underground sub-contract works across multiple sites.

HEALTHCARE

Project Manager for a new build medical centre in London, including pharmacy and facilities for minor surgical procedures, value £2.6m.


LEON JOHNSON

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - DiRECTOR

Leon is a Senior Project Manager with over fifteen years of experience, working nationwide for a diverse range of clients.  He has managed a team of 15 Project Managers undertaking schemes with a combined value in excess of £30m.

  • Pre-construction design team and project management.

  • Framework key account management experience.

Framework manager for major retailers, including 3 years, 90 project store refurbishment to the value of £21m. Project manager for major store remodels including Asda, Co-Op & Lidl as well as management of high profile Food Innovation centre in major retailers head offices.

Project management of £2.5m refurbishment of Teaching Kitchens for Sheffield Hallam University.

RESIDENTIAL

Package management on Grade 2 listed building in Hyde Park, London for conversion into 77 luxury apartments.

Project management of social housing development in Castleford, comprising 28 apartments.

Package management for £21m mixed-use development in Sheffield including complete hotel modular construction and basement car park.

JAMES HASTINGS

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

James is at the beginning of his construction journey having recently graduated in BSC Construction Project Management from Sheffield Hallam University.

James has experience as a junior site manager on £14m pound student accommodation & £18m residential complex. James currently supports our project managers across all our projects and is a valued member of the team.

PAUL ASHCROFT (MCIOB)

SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR & ESTIMATOR - DIRECTOR

Paul is an experienced Director from an estimating and quantity surveying background with a proven commercial acumen and is accomplished in the financial management of a scheme through all phases of the build.

  • Pre-construction cost planning & feasibility.

  • Bill of Quantity Preparation (NRM2 & SMM7).

  • Value engineering and design analysis.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION

Extensive experience with new build and refurbishment projects for secondary and higher education clients from estimating through to completion. Including Sheffield Hallam University, Leeds University, Bradford Schools.

RETAIL

Major retailer framework bidding and cost management during delivery. Including Asda, Co-Op & Lidl for home shopping, remodels and extensions over 15 year period.

RESIDENTIAL

Experience across a variety of projects including retirement residential new builds with leisure facilities. New build housing and apartment developments and office to residential conversions in high rise town centre locations.

CIVILS & INFRASTRUCTURE

Several infrastructure projects including East Leeds bus lane initiative. Rail experience working on various projects from platform alterations to tunnel repairs.

LEISURE

Complex facade retention project for 11 storey apart hotel including new steel frame and concrete repairs. Conversion of industrial units to trampoline activity spaces.


DAN COOK

SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR & ESTIMATOR

Dan is a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 13 years experience working for both contractors and client side cost consultants. His experience covers multiple sectors including Student Accommodation, Education, Retail and Industrial/Warehouse projects as well acting as a managing QS within a £30m+ contractor for several years.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Pre-construction cost planning & estimating.

  • Contract Administration including JCT & NEC forms of contract.

  • Framework administration including P21+

  • Procurement & Supply Chain Management across single projects and multi-location works.

  • Post-Contract Administration under D&B, Construction Management and Cost + arrangements.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

STUDENT ACCOMMODATION

Dan’s experience includes a number of Student Accommodation projects incorporating larger new builds and fast track refurbishments. Including a £21m new build modular development for Unite Students in central London. £1m annual framework for the refurbishment of up to 400-bed properties within summer vacancy.

EDUCATION

Working as estimator and QS on a number of higher education projects covering refurbishments of teaching spaces, maintenance works and specialist catering installations. Projects have included the University of Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Warwick.

COMMERCIAL & LEISURE

Dan began his career involved with several mixed-use developments in Yorkshire. Including a £20m office and hotel project in central Sheffield incorporating a 14 story modular hotel, high specification office space and basement car park.

RETAIL

Having several years of experience in fast track retail projects from multi-location rollouts to £3m industrial unit refurbishments. Including completion of £1.5m refurbishment at the head office of a major retailer.

INDUSTRIAL

£10m new build warehouse project in Doncaster including procurement, contract administration and client liaison under D&B contract.

HEALTHCARE

£9m new ward block development acting as client’s cost consultant under NHS P21+ framework. Including contract administration for maximum cost/cost +, change controls and valuations.
