ASSIX Awarded Heritage Railing Replacement Project

 

ASSIX have been awarded works to install replacement heritage railings at Bartolome House in Sheffield.

Following a successful tender, the works to replace iron railings with aluminium railings on this listed building will commence in early 2022 and includes the following works:

  • Scaffold access, edge protection and hoisting to roof level.

  • Removal of existing failed railings.

  • Preparation of existing stonework and masonry repairs.

  • Design and fabrication and installation of replacement railings, provided in aluminium to match the existing railings on this listed building.

  • Associated roofing works.

  • Permanent edge protection and walkways for roof access.
